I absolutely adore dogs... anything with four paws, really. I have a cockapoo called Ziggy who I adore with all my soppy heart. And having just become an auntie myself I've gone down a bit of a rabbit hole with finding the best children's books about animals!

I was really excited to get my hands on this cute book full of real life dog stories! There are thirty in here, and each one is told in a unique voice, by the dog who lived the actual experience.

You can read about dogs who've gone to space, dogs who helped to rescue children, dogs who pawed through the rubble after terrible disasters, and loads more doggy-related stories. I was IN TEARS!

Now, all I have to do is wait for my nephew to develop the ability to listen to these stories... I may have to wait. But he's gonna love it.
